v1.0 – Matches Hub, Public Profiles & Social Features

Apr 2026

Dedicated Matches Hub launched at /matches – browse all upcoming fixtures across every league in one place, with league filters, date range selectors, and live odds.
10 Potential subpages added – BTTS Potential, Over/Under 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 Goals, High/Low Corners – each ranking upcoming matches by real season statistics with bookmaker odds and value badges.
User Profile V2 – completely redesigned profile page with stats grid (monthly rank, all-time rank, badges, strike rate, prizes won), OLBG-inspired profit chart with 12-month bars and 30-day dots, and a 5-tab layout (Overview, Bet History, Badges, Tips, Settings).
Public Profiles launched – every user now has a shareable profile at /user/username, showing stats, badges with images, profit chart, and recent settled bets. No sensitive data exposed (no stakes, emails, or bankroll settings).
Follow System – follow and unfollow other users, view follower and following lists with follow-back buttons, clickable counts on both public and private profiles.
Notification System – bell icon in the navigation with real-time alerts for new followers, bet settlements (won/lost), and badge awards. Unread count badge and mark-all-as-read on open.
Live TV Listings – matches now show which TV channels are broadcasting each game (Sky Sports, TNT Sports, DAZN, etc.), automatically updated every 4 hours. Displayed on the Matches page, league pages, and individual event banners.
Event Tipsters section – "Who's Betting on This Match" shows each tipster's avatar, level, W-L record, strike rate, ROI, and a last-10-results sparkline. Visible on every event page.
Bet count tags – matches now display how many users have placed bets (e.g. "3 Tips"), shown alongside potential tags on the Matches page and league pages.
Potential tags expanded to league landing pages and individual event page banners – BTTS, O2.5, High Corners and more now visible everywhere matches are displayed.
Monthly prizes increased for April onwards – 1st place £15, 2nd place £12, 3rd place £8 (up from £15/£10/£5).
Profile view counter – track how many times your public profile has been viewed, displayed on both public and private profiles.

v0.99 – International Friendlies, FA Cup & New Betting Markets

International Friendlies added as a new league – full fixture and prediction support with national team flags for 120+ countries.
FA Cup integration – fixtures, predictions, and event pages now available for the FA Cup. League table card hidden since cup competitions don't have standings.
Three new betting markets added to all events – Over/Under 1.5 Goals, Over/Under 3.5 Goals, and Corners Over/Under 9.5. All markets count toward leaderboard scoring.
Corners settlement via API-Football – corner totals fetched from match statistics endpoint with 24-hour caching for accurate settlement of corner bets.
Bet settlement upgraded with API-Football fallback – leagues without Hostinger data (Friendlies, UCL, UEL, FA Cup) now settle via live API results.
Security hardening – timing-safe secret comparison for settlement API, rate limiting on settlement endpoint, input validation on bet placement (market allowlist, stake/odds range checks).
March 2026 prize winners announced – 1st SiZe (£15), 2nd ugurgenc (£10), 3rd PeaceFul (£5). Prizes delivered via Tremendous gift cards.
Newsletter schedule optimised – moved from daily to Mon/Wed/Fri at 10:00 UTC, each edition covering 2-3 days of upcoming fixtures.

v0.98 – Scottish Premiership, Team Injuries & Real Prizes

Scottish Premiership added as 17th supported league – full integration with predictions, standings, fixtures, BTTS, over/under, corner stats, and all platform features.
Team Injuries card added to event pages – view the current injury list for both teams before placing your bet, including player photos, position badges, and season stats (appearances, goals, assists, rating). Premium detailed stats coming soon.
Monthly prizes introduced for the first time – top 3 players on the leaderboard each month win real prizes: 1st place £15, 2nd place £10, 3rd place £5. Prizes funded by PicksIQ, completely free to compete.

v0.97 – Daily Picks Email & Leaderboard Overhaul

Daily Picks Email launched – curated AI-powered picks delivered to your inbox every morning, including match predictions with confidence levels and recommended stake sizes.
One-click unsubscribe – RFC 8058 compliant List-Unsubscribe support, plus a confirmation-based unsubscribe page for email recipients.
Newsletter toggle on account page – manage your Daily Picks Email subscription directly from account settings with instant on/off toggle.
New users auto-subscribed – all new registrations automatically receive the Daily Picks Email. Existing users were bulk-enrolled on launch.
Leaderboard scoring completely overhauled – new formula uses a consistency multiplier instead of a fixed weight. Your skill score (ROI, profit, strike rate) is now multiplied by how consistently you bet.
Anti-gaming protection – only bets with odds of 1.30 or higher count toward your consistency score, preventing players from spamming cheap safe bets to climb the rankings.
Everyone on the leaderboard – no more minimum bet requirement. All users with at least one settled bet now appear, with the consistency multiplier naturally ranking active bettors higher.
Participation bonus – active users who are close to break-even now rank above inactive one-bet users, rewarding engagement even when results are mixed.
Leaderboard info panel updated – 'How It Works' section now explains the new consistency multiplier formula and participation scoring.

v0.96 – XP Leveling System

XP-based leveling system launched – earn experience points through daily engagement across the platform, progressing from Level 1 to Level 10.
Seven ways to earn XP: daily login (+10), placing bets (+15, 5x/day), winning bets (+25), posting tips (+20, 3x/day), receiving likes (+5, 10x/day), login streaks (+50 to +1000), and earning badges (+100).
Level-up win bonus – higher levels unlock bonus tokens on every winning bet, from +10 at Level 2 up to +200 at Level 10.
Login streak milestones added – bonus XP awarded at 7-day (+50), 30-day (+150), 90-day (+300), 180-day (+500), and 360-day (+1000) consecutive login streaks.
Level & XP progress bar added to account page – shows current level, XP progress toward next level, and win bonus amount.
Level badges on leaderboard – all players now display their level next to their username on the leaderboard.
Interactive level info popup – question mark button on account page explains the full XP system, daily caps, and win bonus table.

v0.95 – Match Centre, Lineups & Live Events

Interactive football pitch with lineups – full SVG pitch visualization showing player positions based on real formations, with player photos and jersey numbers.
Player ratings on pitch – live color-coded rating badges (green 7+, amber 6-7, red <6) overlaid on each player's position during and after matches.
Substitution markers – subbed-off players show red indicator with minute on the pitch, substitutes list shows green badge for players who came on.
Real team kit colors – pitch player circles now use actual team kit colors from the API instead of generic blue/red.
Match Events Timeline – full chronological feed of goals, cards, substitutions, and VAR decisions with home events left-aligned and away events right-aligned.
Match Centre redesigned – larger score display, improved status bar, goals timeline with sky blue for home and orange for away team.
XP leveling system – earn experience points through engagement and level up from 1 to 10, unlocking bonus tokens on every winning bet.
Mobile layout improvements – team names stacked vertically on mobile (Home / vs / Away), dropdown menu z-index fixes.
Live auto-update fix – event pages now detect kickoff automatically within 1-2 minutes instead of requiring a manual refresh.

UEFA Europa League (UEL) added as 16th supported league – full integration with predictions, standings, fixtures, and all platform features for the league phase format.
UEL tournament handling enabled – clean sheet estimation derived from standings data for accurate league phase statistics, matching the UCL approach.
League coverage expanded to 16 leagues: EPL, Serie A, Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1, Primeira Liga, Jupiler Pro League, Eredivisie, Czech Liga, Süper Lig, Cyprus 1st Division, Premyer Liqa, Eliteserien, WCQ Europe, UEFA Champions League, and UEFA Europa League.
Security infrastructure upgrade – implemented enhanced session token rotation with automatic expiration, strengthened CSRF protection across all API endpoints, and hardened authentication middleware against common attack vectors.
Rate limiting improvements – refined API rate limiting with per-endpoint thresholds and improved abuse detection to ensure fair platform usage and protect against automated scraping.
