Saturday night brings an MLS knockout tie to Bank of America Stadium as Charlotte face FC Dallas with progression on the line. The market rates this a genuine coin-flip — Charlotte are narrow favourites at 2.2 (implied ~45.5%) but FC Dallas at 2.9 (implied ~34.5%) are very much live. Extra time looms if it's level after ninety. The market gives Charlotte the slenderest of edges at 2.2, but the underlying numbers don't make that an easy case to back.
